Badminton has always been a popular sport in Raigarh since the era of 1970s. after the separation of Chhattisgarh from Madhya Pradesh, and the formation of chhattisgarh badminton association, raigarh district Badminton Association has achieved great heights of success at various levels of the sport . after the Raigarh Stadium was built, the sport’s popularity took off with a new speed. seeing this, we trained the local kids, and also selected brilliant kids from the rural areas to master them in the sport. with this, raigarh created it’s own “Badminton Identity” in the state of Madhya Pradesh as well as Chhattisgarh.
currently, we are training players and providing them a platform, through which they are participating in state, as well as National Level Tournaments.
and, we will always strive towards bringing up excellent shuttlers, so that they can make the city, the state, as well as the whole nation proud.
